SHILPA GUPTA'S EVERYDAY ART | 2025

Shilpa Gupta's work across diverse mediums explores the human experience, asking important questions about how we see the world and how we treat each other. She's especially interested in perception, particularly the invisible lines we draw between one another. These could be borders between countries, but also boundaries shaped by bias, fear, censorship and silence — things that affect us all, even if we don't always talk about them. For her, art is a way to start conversations, even the awkward or difficult ones. 

Written in close collaboration with Shilpa, this exploration invites young people to look at, respond to and see the world in brave new ways, just like she does.
