This work is based on a canvas painting by the artist and is enhanced by Husain's unique use of gold and silver ink during the process of serigraphy.

Husain is largely credited with modernising the Indian art movement. His oeuvre is vast, marked by several specific periods in terms of style as well as subject matter –  including series’ on Horses, Mother Teresa, the Mahabharata, Calligraphy and Sufis, Indira Gandhi, Al Arabia and the Raj.
